Hello, and welcome to Destiny Sound Enterprises Intl (DSEI)—I’m Dr. Babette Mariner, an ordained minister, educator, musician, certified coach, and faith-driven encourager.
From an early age, I knew my life would be devoted to serving God’s Kingdom and empowering others to discover the gifts He placed within them. Whether I’m guiding someone through a major life transition, helping a student find their voice, or offering a compassionate ear to a weary soul, my deepest joy comes from watching people step confidently into their divine destiny.

I’m going to let you in on a secret: with 26 years in the classroom I was really comfortable in my role as a music teacher, but I know without a doubt that even though I started DSEI later in life this is exactly what I’m supposed to be doing.
It wasn’t until I decided to take a leap of faith and explore new possibilities that I realized how my passion for teaching, coaching, and ministry could converge into one transformative mission. Now, I’m here to serve those who, like me, feel a stirring to step into a fresh season, even if they’ve spent decades committed to one path. Because once you see how God can weave your gifts into a purpose that uplifts others, you’ll find the freedom to embrace your next chapter—no matter what stage of life you’re in.

Deep down, I believe we’re all designed with a purpose meant to bless the world around us, and I consider it a privilege to help you discover and nurture yours.

My greatest reward is watching clients and students break free from old limits and step joyfully into their calling and purpose.
A Life Steeped in Music & Ministry
My spiritual foundation and love for the arts go hand in hand. I grew up in a musical family that believed in combining faith with creative expression, and I carried those roots all the way to the Boston Conservatory at Berklee—twice.
There, I earned degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance, which eventually opened the door to teaching music in the Boston Public Schools for twenty-five years. Throughout my journey, I also served in ministry, performed as a psalmist and recording artist, and became a CAPP Institute–certified personal and executive coach.
I founded DSEI with one goal in mind: to help individuals uncover the unique “sound” of their purpose and live in harmony with God’s plan. Through faith-infused coaching and private music instruction, I’ve seen firsthand how lives can be completely transformed—dreams reignited, confidence renewed, and hope restored. Over the years, I’ve expanded our offerings to include speech coaching and etiquette training, all under the umbrella of a spiritually guided, people-focused approach.
